Yeah, he's wrong. Even the banner said it does compressed RAW...

However, it's NOT the same sensor as the BMDCC.

Brawley said it's a new sensor, tweaked to give the same kind of picture quality and feel as the BMDCC.

My conjecture is that BMD is fed up with the multiple cockups from their original supplier, and moved to different vendors for the Pocket and 4K. I think they are more confident about a July delivery date because they have already tested the new vendor's delivery capacity. (Just conjecture, mind. No data at all.)

What BMD have done with this camera is to take a super 16 size version of the exact same awesome sensor that’s in the current BMCC and shrink the form factor down to that of an iPhone with a lens mount.
