Transcend 128GB CFast Not Recognized

PostTue Dec 26, 2017 5:53 pm

One of my Transcend 128GB Cfast cards is not being recognized by either my 4.6k or UMP, or PC or Mac. I have used this card without issue for almost 2 years. I am using the Transcend Cfast reader. I also have two other Transcend cards which seem to be still working.

Any ideas how to get it to work?

Thanks!

Transcend 128GB CFast Not Recognized

When the card isn’t recognized in camera, I assume you have rebooted the camera. Might be worth power cycling and trying the card in both slots with a working card in the other slot. Since it’s not working there, looks like it’s not the usual problem with cables or card readers.

Time to consider that SSD alternative?
