Do Lomo PL lenses work w/ Ursa Mini?

Hey guys!

I cannot answer this question because I have no Ursa PL and have never used the PL lenses. And the last time I used KONVAS and it's lenses is well before 1990.
But: I have seen the drawings of Alexa PL mount. It's quite narrow in sensor area. So the problems may apply to Alexa only. Hope it helps.

Does anyone know if there’s anything particularly distinguishing about Ursa’s PL mount compared to the standard? I saw one Lomo that needed 18mm depth for the mount—anyone know what the depth clearance is on the Ursa?

See if BMD Support has an official answer. You would need to tell them the diameter of the lens extension into the well in addition to the 18mm depth required. It might work or it might interfere with the baffle.

Probably doesn't fit. All "PL" positive lock mounts are not Arri mounts. That is likely an OCT 19 mount which is not compatible with the Arri Pl mount used by BM. In fact right below condition the seller writes this.
"The lens is not suitable for ARRI Alexa!!!" I'd give it a pass.

I have a set of Lomo spherical PL mount lenses that Work great on the UMP. But as mentioned, make sure it actually has been converted to a PL mount. Also, adapters are available from rafcamera although it’s not a simple conversion.

Yes they do work. I have a full set, 18,22,28,35,50,75,100,200 - all fine. They were originally in OCT 19 converted to PL. The 18mm was an oct18 I use with an adapter from ciecio 7 on ebay. They're amazing lenses but the flare can be difficult to control and unpredictable. They're really flattering on faces.
