I would like to know if BMC 4K Camera will do crop (like RED) when it records Full HD or will it downsample as others. Please let me know...

It was mentioned in one of the interviews (can't give a link sorry, can't remember which one) that it will not crop. In terms of line skipping or such I don't know what method they chose there, but it's certainly not a crop.

i also heard it would not crop, so realistically you could get 1080p 4:4:4 out of it as the sensor resolution is exactly 4 times that of full HD. I would also like to point out that its technically not 4K resolution. just like how 2.5k is actually 2.4k.
