The Widest/Best Super16 lens for the Pocket cam would probably be a Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-45 mm with IS, But I may just be 4/3rds ignorant.

I don't know if a C-mount conv. is possible or not. Not yet confirmed, but if it is, you can get as wide as 7. Which would roughly be 20mm in Full frame conversion.

Yeah but with the Pocket Cam I would think any Primary/Walk around lens you would want IS??
So we need the fastest/sharpest/widest/stabilized lens for the pocket cam???

Oh Yeah!

There are some C-mount CCTV/TV lenses out there that might work, not sure about image quality, flange or focus issues, etc. These might be as low as 5.5 or 6mm.

Widest modern lens is probably the Panasonic 7-14mm f/4.0. This is equivalent to a 21mm lens on a Full Frame camera or a 13.1mm lens on an APS-C DSLR. It's not very fast though. IS isn't really necessary for such a wide lens, especially if you are flying it on a steadicam. :)

Maybe not on a Steadicam, but the Pocket cam hand held? lol good luck with no IS.

A simple rig like this might be best with the pocket cam:

With a PL mount, you can get very wide. 9.5mm is a common S16mm wide lens, there is also an 8R from Zeiss (8mm rectilinear) as well as Kinoptik (spelling?) 5.7mm that pops up a bit on e bay. I haven't personally used that lens; but normally when I'm flying on m SR3, I throw either the 9.5 or the 12mm on her.
