4.6k serial number

Does any one know how you can find your serial number on your camera when it has been rubbed off over the years of use?

I have a feeling it's embedded in the metadata ? Maybe fish around in the metadata fields in both ProRes and DNG in Resolve ?

I'm not at a computer that has Resolve at the moment... but digging through the metadata in FCPx I can't seem to find it. Thanks though JB!

Correct me if i'm wrong. But i had a Ursa mini pro in the shop the other day and in the Setup menu or something i remember seeing some number code.. Was it hardware id or serial number? Or build version of firmware maybe.. But it was like 6 or 8 digits..

The SN should be in the box, near the bar code.

4.6k serial number

The hardware ID is in the Setup menu, but the serial number is on the box and possibly on your bill or shipping information. This assumes you can’t read the serial number sticker on the camera.

Serial numbers will be on the product itself or the packaging. It will not be in the menus.
