URSA SSD blinks red with ! sign

PostWed Jan 31, 2018 9:20 pm

Hi, so, I've no idea why or when this started, but I keep getting a red ! on recording, is that dropped frames? It plays back fine?

Sounds like you have dropped frames. There’s a menu setting that I recommend in which you Stop Recording on Dropped Frames. That kind of lets you know your shot is bad.

You may be trying to record at a frame rate, resolution, and codec not supported for the SSD media you have. Consult the manual and the list of approved media.

You were right! It was skipping, faulty lead other than SSD - my SSD was the samsung one that Tom Antos suggested, but sadly the cable has turned bad.

Good to hear you’ve found the problem, Chris.
