HI, on my Video Assist 4k does not work touchscreen!
HDMI signal coming.
Firmware - 2.5.2

Support is not responding!

HELP!

Down to firmware 2.4 didn't solve problem

Well, at least it is repairable, and you have an option here. At one time, if a repair exceeded 1/2 of the replacement cost, it was often replaced with a new bit, instead of being repaired.

That said, if the VA is otherwise in good kit, then the $500 repair (it might cost less, as this is a quote without seeing the VA to verify actual issue), is still 400 less than replacement. I would opt formthe repair in this case as it is just a little bit above 1/2 replacement cost.

It seems to me that this is very expensive. Repair should not cost more than $100. The problem is only in the touch screen. Maybe there's just a wire left.

Labor is reasonable, but parts seem a little high, but this is a 7-inch 1929x1080 HD touch screen.
