Hi

Is it possible to choose monitoring only one channel on Ursa Mini please?

I am filming with clip on mic in one channel as main mic which I would like to monitor and then have second boom mic as back up which I do not need to monitor.

I can't find this option.
Should be simple option like on any other camera.

Thanks

Record each mic to a separate channel so both will be added to your recording. Use an adapter on your headphone that only passes the audio from a single channel.

Hi Rick

Thanks, good idea with the adapter.
Will mono jack will be fine or is there any specific adapter for this?

Thanks

I would recommend a "stereo-male-to-mono-female" splitter. That would prevent one channel from being shorted to ground at the camera, and allow you to choose which of the two channels to hear in your headphones.

Note that stereo headphones will only produce sound on one side, unless you likewise plug it through a second "mono-male-to-stereo-female" adapter.
