Just curious why there isn't a locking EF mount for the Ursa Mini Pro? Is there any other way to stabilize an EF lens when pulling focus/zoom?

I don't think there is any other way. A locking EF mount will help all of us.

Yes, add a lens support that clamps around the lens, or a clamping matte box, that connects to the rails.
This is how I stabilized my MFT cine lenses.

It depends on what glass you are using, but on my Xeen's I have a 1/4-20 tie down that mounts on the rails and screws into the bottom of the lens. Locks everything in tight.

The Zeiss CPs also have a lens support mount attachement pount, as do most Cine Primes I have seen.
Cheers

I would pay to upgrade to a locking EF mount to my UMP and still have the normal EF mount when you buy it from the store.
