I have recently Put together a DIY battery solution myself, it rivals the PB-70( 4 hours of straight continuous recording + the internal battery ) but it only cost around 80$.....( Ebay)

You could build around 4 for the same price as 1 PB-70.

And because it DIY, you have the ability to add as much input and outputs as you would like for your accessories( Mics, Monitor, etc....) Also uses a standard Laptop battery charger.

Sweet. Can you give us a breakdown of the parts used to build this battery?

Ill definitely do something like that. I will probably end up posting a full guide at some point with step by step on how to build your own.

Its essentially (you guessed it) some batteries and some circuitry stuffed into a External HDD Enclosure for 80-90$

( pricing may vary depending on stuff you may already have, and the places you go to buy the parts.
But its still a very spot on estimate. )

I was going to guess a buck/boost converter in an old hard drive case with some rechargeable li-ions thrown in the mix :?:

True, but he's not paying $110 extra in provincial tax...

How much is BMCC MFT camera in USA and UK with sales taxes, duties and shipping costs?

I mean how much exactly gets off wallet, including all those for camera to be in hands?

Im in the uk,

cheapest price is from US, but not that safe unless have relatives to pass it on for you ;) at around 1360 UK pounds incl shipping

In Europe you can get from Germany including shipping for 1390 inc taxes etc.

+1 for the DIY battery solution. Waiting for that!

Hi, the best way i found with B&H is to ship your package to Monaco in France. Special state with no taxes, no duties or something like this. Only shipping cost.
But of course you have to find someone there to send you after ;)

Best regards,
François from France
