Bags

PostTue Apr 24, 2018 10:44 am

Personally I think is more useful to put the camera in a bag, just ready to shoot with a battery.
I´m looking for way to transport the camera to different locations, car, fly..
The problem is that I installed the SSD recorder, so, it gets longer....do you now if it will fit on a Dr. Bag-3 or could you recommend me one bag that could de the job?

Thanks a lot!

I bought this bag 2 weeks ago. It is huge and well made.

Keith, is the bag larger than allowed for carry-on luggage? Fran mention flying with the bag...

Cam3 is definitely too large for carry on. It would have to be checked baggage if flying with it. It’s sturdy enough to survive baggage handlers, though personally I never put my cameras in checked luggage no matter how strong the case.

Jamie, thanks for your help. I thought about it, believe me.
For me the Cam3 works in the day by day, going to location by car etc
As you, when I fly I take the camera, media and bateries with me. But I would use Cam3 to storage other stuff not so important. This way once landing I can transport again the camera safetly in Cam3.
I think it make sense, but I’m always open to other solutions.
PD: by the way, each shot I’m loving more and more this camera, very pleasing skins and clean even at 1600 ISO. I come from sony’s slogs with this greens skins etc....so, very hapy
