Ursa loyalty upgrade offer

Hi,

Does anyone know for sure if the full size ursa to Ursa Mini pro upgrade offer is still valid? Can anyone from blackmagic confirm?

B&H has the Ursa Mini Pro Loyalty program pricing still listed on their web site for Ursa cameras purchased from them. Contact the dealer you bought the camera from B&H before Jan 2017. To confirm it’s availability for you.

I was hoping that the loyalty program on B&H would run until this summer. It has been discontinued a few days ago. I know it has been offered for a while now but there was no advance notice. Sadly, I was ready to upgrade in a couple of weeks. I'm curious if you can still get the loyalty upgrade directly from Blackmagic.

I doubt it, BM does not sell cameras directly to end users. Try contacting B&H and see if you can still get the deal.

I contacted the reseller I bought mine from in September , explained my situation , they contacted bm and I got the deal.

Under EU law you’re quite protected for contracts of purchase so it may be different stateside, and obviously every case is unique but get your reseller to enquire, it might pan out... it did for me

You bought the full size Ursa last September new? In a store like new? I'm shocked they even have new once in store..

Hi Denny, I did send a support email. I'm waiting to hear but my expectation is low since I think it is a reseller's program, not BMD. Thanks.

It was a BMD sponsored program enacted through participating deslers. Where did you buy the camera, I would also,try contacting that dealer to see if they can still get the upgrade for you.
