Video Assist 4K and Canon 5D MK III

PostSun May 20, 2018 5:21 pm

Hi,

I just bought a Video Assist 4K to accompany my Canon 5D MK III, and make great videos. Unfortunately it seems that the Video Assist shows all the overlays present on the Canon LiveView.

I almost get rid of all of them but one is remaining and prevents me from recording with a clean output from the Canon's sensor : I still have the AF point displayed on my screen (see image).

Does anyone knows how to get rid of it when switched to Liveview ? If I use the internal cards to record this rectangle disappears when I press the record button. Nothing similar when using the VA 4K.

Thanks in advance. Regards.

Videoassist cannot enable features into your video feedback, you must disable them from 5d, if you can without magic lantern.
