Recommend Lenses for BMPCC4k

PostMon May 21, 2018 8:00 pm

Ok.. I know lens choice is very much dependent on your application… But as someone that is buying in to a new lens system (I currently don’t own any!), i’m curious to find out what lenses people are thinking of for the new BMPCC4k, and what they’ll be using those lenses for.

What’s your budget for primes and/or zooms?

There is another thread on this topic on the forum; search for that thread and you may find your answer.

You need to decide if you want to buy lenses with native mFT mounts such as the Vedra primes that are only suited to your camera or lenses that cover a larger image circle that can be used on other camera mounts such as EF, PL or vintage lenses in older mounts many of which can be adapted to the mFT on the Pocket 4K.

Thank you for your response.. I did a search and not a single post came up regarding this question.. maybe you could provide me a link?

The question is a general question about what people are using and would recommend in a given situation.. my budget is irrelevant.

Thanks.

I'd look for an auto focus mft for use on the gimbal like the olympus 12mm f2, then bank account willing, a set of mft voigtländer noktons.
