Power ‘on’?

PostMon Jun 04, 2018 9:09 pm

Hi. Very new here. Working in stills but recently was given the BMPC. I think it is an early model and it won’t power up. I have tried various combinations of button presses and jiggles and did get a bit of power by luck on one of my attempts but never again...... all batteries charged..... any thoughts?.... thanks everso. Possibly you’re holding the power on button a little too long; just a firm press and release. If you hold it too long you’re shutting it off before it’s finished booting up.

Thanks Rick, but it doesn’t work with a quick press either.......

Did you talk to the person who gave you the camera? A firm one-half to one second push should do it. Not too quick.

Internal battery might be dead, try plugging it into the wall.
