Assembly Required: Comedy Feature Film shot on Blackmagic

PostSun Jun 17, 2018 5:18 pm

Hi guys!

Back in 2013 I ordered my first BMPCC, with the hopes of making a feature film. Now, after three years of work with my brother a small team of friends, actors and artists the film is almost complete!

We have just released the trailer for our comedy feature film, Assembly Required. Here's a link where you can watch:

We have taken inspiration from The Hurt Locker and The Walking Dead and paired the original BMPCC with a Canon 10.6-180 T2.7 zoom lens.
The idea for this combo originates one freezing night whilst filming a short with some primes. With shivering hands I thought 'I never want to change lens again'. Hence the zoom.

It's been a great adventure using Blackmagic so far;
Cheers!

We've been out shooting more scenes. Trying to get as close as I can to nature.
