any work around to down convert output signal on 4k VA ?

video assist 4k 7" - down convert ?

Is there any work around to output an HD signal (hdmi) from a 4k input signal (hdmi) ?
I don't see any menu options to allow for this.
My monitor will only recognise a 1080 signal or lower.

There is no down convert option for output from the VA4K.

You need to add a scalper, like the new BM Up/Down/Cross Mini Converter.

Thanks for your advice. Having read back 60 pages , I found a post where Denny mentions that the VA5” will down convert a UHD signal to HD. Therefore , as my first purchase was a 5”. I think my only solution is to shoot 4K signal to VA7” output that 4K signal via hdmi into to VA5” and let it down convert the signal to HD and output that signal to the HD monitor. Ie 7” to 5” to client monitor.

That will work also, a slightly ore expensive solution, now that the new UDC Mini Converter is out.
