Corrupted media files on SD card.

PostWed Jul 18, 2018 1:34 am

Hi, so I bought a cheap 256 gig SD card and, needless to say, I ended up paying dearly for it. It's some weird off-brain they sell on Amazon called "Komputer Bay" and, even though I formatted it properly, it started glitching. I would press record and it would do it, but then it'd refuse to stop, no matter how many times I pressed it. I had to resort to force shut down the camera by taking out the battery in order to stop recording. And now when I looked at the video files, I found most of them to be corrupt because of the way I had to shut down the camera. It seems they were never finished encoding or something along those lines.

Does anyone know if there is a software or an app that can help rescue the files? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
