Any chance of a multi channel video assist for computational

Any chance of a multi channel video assist for computational filming, with camera control?

This allows post focus, dof, range, lighting etc to be adjusted with increased accuracy, and noise reduction. They do this by recording two or more cameras to record a multi view of the scene, allowing for the position of things in the scene to be calculated in 3D, and then the desired workflow stuff is calculated from that.

So, you could have 4 or more HDMI or USB/MHL cameras coñnected to record (SDI would be overkill). All cameras could be in a small module using 1 inch or smaller sensors. Even 1/6th inch, for really small. Or micro studio etc. However, the views can also be put on a single 8k+ sensor with the right lens setup.

It allows things to be tidied up in post, footage not so good to be used. But it allows more rapid filming and for the cost to be deferred to cheaper workflow teams.

This technology means you can actively get rid of wrinkles and body fat on actresses (not saying it's desirable to overdo it) and make them look younger. It means sequels can have stars which match more the timeline. Your star can be turned into a duck, even during filming. 3D capture can allow more active interaction with 3D characters and special effects.

Red has patents on versions of this, but we know how much they might cost. But for less than $1000 a video assist based solution with a $200 sensor module could get people started on the low end.
