This question made me wonder if the BMCC could record an image in bright sunlight using a pin hole lens cap like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canon-EOS-Pinho ... %26ps%3D54

Pinhole cameras record at f/250 or some crazy aperture at very long shutter times. I doubt it will work.

Sure you can shoot with a lenscap pinhole. Hell the Olympus M4rds camera make an F8 pinhole lens-cap. Certainly worth trying.

Time to break out some foil and needles! Could be cool for dream sequences if it is bright enough.

Does blackmagic come with lens? Is purchasing lens optional?
