BRaw is still in Beta development, and a Beta copy rolled out on the UM Pro. It will not get rolled out to other ca eras until it is finished and finalized. The new Pocket camera is scheduled next, but no time table on when this will be is available. BM does not release this info until it is ready to be released.
Cheers.

Just guessing, Justin, but I expect it to be added this year based on the public feedback from the alpha testers.

My prognostication: Braw will come to the P4k sometime in late Oct/early Nov; UM4.6k in late Dec/early January. UM4k....not sure.

B&H is now showing availability of Nov for the camera. Hopefully that's for new orders placed now. I ordered on April 21- wondering when I might get mine.

If it means all are coming in Nov, that makes my widdle heart sad!

I feel they’re posting a date they estimate that new orders will be delivered, but I admit to a little wishful thinking there. It really depends on the timing of deliveries to North America and the backlog the larger dealers have.

Historically the North America distributor has tried to ensure most vendors get some cameras quickly. So a small guy might have 20 preorders and a big guy might have 200 hundred orders but the first shipment could be something like 5 cameras to all distributors. As time goes by the bigger guys get their cameras but initially it’s nice to be near the top of a small order.

Makes me cringe that I cancelled my pre-order from a couple hours after the announcement.. till just the other day! Oh well. I still only have the one 85mm rokinon lens.. i just hope the fotodiox adapter works so that i can actually use the camera right away with my EF lenses. They will have to do for now. Also picked up a Flycam RedKing.. at 1/4 the price of the GlideCam and pretty much spot on in comparison figured it would be a worthwhile investment for the short term. Wondering if their vest/2 spring arm setup is worth it.

You may just have the advantage.. I ordered mine back in May, but thinking now I would’ve liked to have seen a few good reviews and waited until there is a wider and more detailed knowledge of the product and its performances… Not to mention the slew of accessories that will be available in the coming months after its release.

Possibly.. but I suspect if I get a unit within a couple months time, it wont have any "corrected" fixes if any are discovered. I did buy the 4 year everything covered warranty.. while I would do that for lenses for sure.. I figured this camera should be good for at least 4 years and if i drop it, or water damages it, I want it covered! Hopefully they honor their claim and more so I never have to use it. Peace of mind.

I am planning on 2 lenses eventually. I definitely plan on one of the wide angle lenses Denny suggested, just not sure which one. I am leaning towards the Laowa or the Panny I think it was. Something in the $1K range with low light capability. The 1.4 lens (forget which one it is now) seems like the more likely choice for indoor room footage. I just hope its "cinematic enough" and not a photo lens. Havent researched it yet as I got a little ways to go. also want something like an 18-70 or something. I have my Rokina 85mm cine lens.. which will do well enough until I can purchase better cine lenses. But def need the wide angle and something to cover the 15-24 to 70-80 range that is also cine capable.
