Firmware 6.0 hot pixels

PostSun Sep 16, 2018 10:10 pm

Hello,

I got hot pixels with firmware 6.0. Installed it 3 times now, everytime I got a few hot pixels. 5.2 seems fine. Shooting raw 3:1 on 5.2 and 8:1 / 12:1 on firmware 6. Already reported it to Blackmagic, but I was curious if there are more who noticed something similar.

Which version of the camera do you have?
For the Ursa Mini pro and Pro 4.6K did you try blackshading to fix the hotpixels? ;)

Might be something in the 6.0 beta that does not compensate for the hotpixels that were found in previous FW versions..

Hey,

Yes, I always perform an blackshading calibration after an update. Going to take a read, thanks!
Today I had shoot with the original 5.2 firmware, all went fine and didn’t see any hot pixels.
