Suggestions on a MFT lense with declicked remote aperature?

PostFri Sep 21, 2018 2:15 pm

Does anyone know of a MFT lens that could be attached to a BMD Micro Studio camera and shaded via RCP live smoothly? Photo lenses have to be declicked but then I dont believe the audio iris control functions anymore. Trying to avoid a b4 lens due to weight concerns.

Thoughts?

You can not declick the iris on native MFT auto lenses, the iris is driven by a stepper motor, not manual control.
The only native, auto MFT lens I know of thst has a stepless iris, and can be remotely controlled (iris and focus) is the Panasonic Leica 12-60 Zoom. This is one of the “video” frsturs of this lens, along with very quiet iris and focus motors that are very fast in auto mode, and the zoom (manual control only) is parfocal. ;)

I use this lens on my Micro Studio Camera, works well, even though the minimum f/stop is variable (f/2.8-4).
Cheers
