BMPCC4K 120 FPS VIDEO

PostThu Oct 04, 2018 10:31 am

Here is a video made with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K shot entirely in 120 FPS.

While it isn’t the sharpest footage it is definitely usable and I was pleasantly surprised.

I have applied a LUT (Blackmagic Pocket 4k Film to Extended Video) in DaVinci Resolve and made a few tweaks in FCPX.

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Lens used: Lumix 12-35mm 2.8 at 2.8, in Film (log)

Shot in 1080 Prores 422, at 120fps (conformed in camera to 23.98).

Thanks for taking the time for us. Damn compression! Makes everything look like a DSLR.

One of the reasons Vimeo is nice. It gives you the option to let people download the original uploaded file.

Thanks for doing this and sharing.

Render and upload it in 4k, gives better result for 1080p footage.

Yeah I usually upload to Vimeo for my work but since these are just tests I chose youtube instead. Vimeo quality is much better for sure.
