Blackmagic Studio SDI Out

I am a high school teacher who has started a studio production class at my school. I have never used blackmagic products, but really love the Studio cameras specs.

My question is will the camera's SDI output work with any system? Or does it need a blackmagic converter?

I am currently running a MAC Pro (Aluminum case) with Blackmagic capture cards. Upgrading to the Decklink Duo 2 soon.

The Studio camera outputs a standard SDI Video signal, at 1080 HD or UHD resolution, with 4.2.2, 10-bit YUV color space. It will work with any SDI capable device that will accept this signal.

one question, is audio embedded in the sdi signal?

If yiu send an audio signal into the camera, from a mich inout for example, then yes, the audio signal is embedded in the video SDI output.
