So, apart from the last two sentences where he talks about his experiences with noise (without providing any examples, mind you), this is basically a spec sheet rundown, correct?

Oh, a UK review. It must be good? I'm Joking. But I like David's site, he reads and writes good stuff.

This is part one, maybe the examples come latter.
aIf you are not truthfully progressive, maybe you shouldn't say anything
bTruthful side topics in-line with or related to, the discussion accepted
cOften people deceive themselves so much they do not understand, even when the truth is explained to them

The comments about using ISO instead of ND filters is interesting since ISO and False Colour combine to make for a very quick exposure change without forcing you to change a stop at a time (or two stops at a time with the built-in ND wheel of URSA Mini Pro Camera).

Will be very worthwhile to give that a try anyway. I find it hard to believe that he’s suggesting ISO 25600 is useful but passes on BMD’s hint to shoot ISO 1250 instead of ISO 1000. Surely ISO 25600 is far noisier than ISO 1000! I had thought ISO 6400 would be the highest I would use.

I know, before I’ve finished this post, Florent will have a test posted illustrating ISO 1000 versus 25600!
