Is it possible or planned to use the Camera Control protocol on a USB endpoint of the cameras?

Background:
Contrary to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and the URSA*, the BMPC4K does not have LANC
and using unreliable Bluetooth for a simple. REC -button on a shoulder rig is not a sensible choice of
technology.

The BMPC4K is not really designed for live work with an Atem and shading. It is a cinema style camera and with that use intended designed for.

If you want a camera with camera control go for the Studio, micro studio or ursa series! ;)

I don't want full camera control.

I want a recording button on the handle of my shoulder rig. (Ideally also a focus rocker)
So I don't have to awkwardly hold the rig single handed to touch a button on top of the camera
every few seconds.

Up to now with the Pocket Cinema Camera I used a small Lanparte LANC recording button
that screws nicely onto a handle.
But the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K no longer has LANC.

Bluetooth would be a terrible choice for this and I would probably never get anything that runs a full Bluetooth stack small enough. An Atmel with a programmable USB port however would be possible.
