BMPCC4K with Vintage Lens Video

PostTue Oct 23, 2018 11:29 am

Since I own a Canon AE 35mm film camera I thought I’d get an adapter and see how the FD 24mm 2.8 looks on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.

Shot in UHD Prores 422.
LUT applied (Blackmagic Pocket 4k Film to Extended Video) in DaVinci Resolve 15

Let me know what you think :).

Cheers,
Florent

In a tumultuous world, it’s reassuring to find sanctuary in a library if only for a fleeting moment. The lens is pleasantly suited to the situation, quiet, low contrast, and curled up like a cat in the corner of its not inappropriate barrel distortion.

I agree with you, Rick. I love going to this kind of places. Very nice description of the lens :).
