Probably anything that is about metadata, bluetooth and USB.

Maybe they will charge for extra capabilities via firmware like follow focus, auto iso, wave forms....

BMD hasn't charged for new firmware features in the past, what makes you think it's going to start charging for them now?

Because their is always a first time.
Because this camera is missing some features.
Because if they make it better for the same price it might eat into the sales of other Bm cameras So thy do it in installments.
I hope they never do and probably not but it could be a possibility specially with the bmp4k.

Some sensors have 14 bits.
