Shooting in NORMAL speed

Hi,

I've seen many folks asking how to get a nice slow motion.
I seem to have the opposite problem: I'm getting slow motion when I want normal seep one.
It sounds silly, but I'm having a hard time finding the right setting NOT to have slowmo.
I'm shooting 24f, and that's what I want to shoot at. I must be doing something wrong when it comes to either shutter or off frame speed... I got my camera a few days ago.
Please, I don't really need any lengthy explanation. If someone could please share the right settings, I'll be very thankful.

Check that you don't have off speed recording turned on.
Go into the menu under recording and swipe over to the next page and you'll see a slider to turn off speed on or off.

You can turn off speed on and off by hitting the HFR (high frame rate) physical button on the back of the camera.

I wasn't sure about the off speed; I will certainly try that.

How do you fix it once you've already accidentally shot footage in this setting (say 60fps when you wanted 24fps)?

Just throw it into a 24 fps timeline, Resolve will adapt it.

If you "just throw it into a 24 fps timeline" Resolve will play it in slow motion.

You'll need to change the frame rate to 60fps in clip attributes. If you then insert that clip on a 24fps timeline, motion may look a bit odd, even though it's no longer in slow motion. Or you can put it on a timeline set at 60fps, where it should look normal.

If your camera project frame rate was set to 24 fps in camera but you accidentally had Off Speed mode On, the audio will still be 24 fps. But simply dropping the clip on a 24 fps timeline in Resolve will have video playing back in slow motion. You may need to Unlink the video and Audio tracks and use Clip Attributes to have the video playback at 60 fps. Just guessing as I haven’t tried that.

Yes, changing clip attributes is the right thing to do.
Sorry, I overlooked that it was in HFR instead of just shooting regular 60 fps, but meant for a 24 fps project.
