i am checking this 5 inch monitor for bmpcc 4k hdmi in no signal the monitor signal input is 480i/p 576i 720p 1080i/p is this monitor not capable

No, you need a 1080p24-60fps capable monitor, your is an older interlace SD/HD monitor, that does not seem to support a full HD 1080p signal. Many of the older small monitors for DSLR Cameras were in this category, as most DSLRs only output a 720p/1080i signal.

I am new to the monitor business. I bought a cheap samsung pc monitor just to be able to watch my frame while filming myself. Turns out that was a stupid buy -_- why won't the monitor accept the camera?
