How is BRAW performing on integrated Intel Graphics ?

PostWed Feb 20, 2019 9:34 pm

Hey everyone !

I need to order a laptop to work while traveling, for photoshop and light video editing.
No need for a workhorse, I have mine at home already.

I know I won't be able to edit 4k Prores 422 on Intel Graphics, but with BRAW coming to the BMPCC4K soon, and knowing it's crazy light on the hardware, I'm wondering: did anyone try to edit 4k BRAW on a laptop without a discrete GPU ? How does it perform compared to ProRes 422 ?

I prefer having a 13" laptop and they (almost) never come with discrete GPU, and the ones coming with one are too expensive or ugly.

Look at the Spectre x360 line. The 15" models have discrete GPUs, but there also variants that have a Kaby Lake G processor, the model that integrates a custom Vega GPU into the chip carrier.
