BMPCC 4K - SSD recording time?

PostSun Feb 24, 2019 3:29 pm

I just got may Pocket 4K and a Samsung T5 1TB.

When connected the SSD for the first time it says I have a recording time of "280 min"
After recording some seconds it says "remaining 1112m".

Is this a Bug or what does that mean?

Did you change the recording mode from when you first saw 280min? That number reflects the different flavors of prores, DNG, HD or 4k recording times in minutes. All have different recording times because some need less or more storage recording requirements. If I shoot proxy prores in HD the number will be different than if I record CDNG raw 3:1 and so on. So 1112m means you have that many minutes recording time in the recording mode you are currently at. Change the recording mode and the minutes time changes.
