Trouble with SSD?

PostMon Jun 03, 2013 8:37 am

Hello we purchased the BMCC 2.5K the other week and we have problems with our footage.
As you can take a look at my 2 links, there is green jitter on the .DNG and also on the Prores footage.

We bought a recommended SSD for the camera: OCZ 240 GB SSD Vertex Series 3: VTX3-25SAT3-240G

In playback on the camera it looks fine but we tested the footage on 3 computers and it is all the same.

Any ideas what the problem can be?

Thanks / Andreas

That looks like data corruption. Did you do a fresh format of the SSDs before using them?

Was this issue on footage played from your computer HD or from the SSD itself? Could have got corrupted when copying the files from the SSD.

We did a fresh format on a mac before we put it in the BMCC, and formatted it again after we saw the corruption.

We copied the clips from the SSD to computer and also played it directly from the SSD with exact same corruption.
