Slow Motion SOS

PostSat Mar 30, 2019 4:54 pm

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum, as I'm new to my Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4K.. and I am hoping someone can shed some light on slow motion settings. I figured I would need to set HD 1080 at 120 fps, but I can't seem to get past 60 fps. I'm sure I'm just missing a step, and if anyone has any luck with setting this camera in slow motion, would you mind sharing?

Thanks so much!

You need to set your resolution to 1080 and make sure windowed sensor is turned on.

Set resolution to 1080.

Go to the second Record page, turn Off Speed Recording on, and set Off Speed Frame Rate to 120.

If the FPS indicator in the upper left corner of the screen doesn’t show “120/24,” (or some other number for the lower frame rate) press the HFR button on the right rear of the camera.

That should do it – but make sure your storage medium can handle 120 fps. (Fast CF or SSD.)

Thanks for the tips!
I set the camera to 1080...
then set the off speed recording on,
the project frame rate at 23.98 fps,
and the off speed frame rate at 60 ( it won't go higher-.) and it worked.
Wondering if I could push it even slower.. ?
