Does anyone try the way to use iPad Pro as a field monitor? I read that Thunderbolt is back compatible with USB-c. Anyone has seen that implementation in real life?
What I do not understand is why Z CAM can use an iOS device as an external monitor. If that technology is available in such a small form factor camera, how complicated can it be?

hdmi/sdi to wifi converter box to ipad app, the "cheap" way from hdmi signal in the crane 3 lab gimbal (still waiting for servos...), not much range, channel hopping etc... I think. And just the wifi part adds some latency, not counting the chips performance inside the smallbox, it also uses bluetooth for something. Testing more with the updated app once I get all the stuff needed for controlling the lense also.

my device by wifi connection use ipad and iphone like monitor, with small delay. Mobile device cannot have Usb-c/Lighting and more with input video signal, only output signal.
