Blackmagic Pocket 4K anywhere in Europe ?

PostFri Apr 19, 2019 10:22 am

Hello:

Does anybody know an european online shop where to buy the Pocket 4k. It seems the availability in the US is better now but still it is nearly impossible to get a single camera in Europe. Has anybody had luck in the last weeks buying one in Europe and if yes what was the shop that had them.

Just tired of being in 2 waiting lists (with advanced payment) with no news and no prediction when they will be available. Seriously considering buying from the US with taxes + high shipping .

Love Blackmagic products but their delivery system is just a big big failure

Cristian, I bought BMP4K on april 4th from Bucharest, Romania.
I am a regular client. No downpayment. Just a phone call, they put me on a list, and in less than 3 weeks I had my camera. I don't know if that was mere luck or a special treatment for an old client, but that was the story.
Now, there is no BMP4K in their stores.

Good luck!

Not really, they still got currently 100+ preorders, that's why I bought one from eBay now.

Thank you for your replies. I am trying to avoid first places outside the EU as I am a registered VAT business so it is more convenient to buy from a UE dealer but if I don't find one the Swiss shop could be an option. I reached the Romanian dealer posted to see if the have some left. If somebody has other option would be thankful that you post

That is the old Pocket, not the 4k.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.
