How to remove LUTs from BMUM4K

PostSun Apr 21, 2019 1:15 am

I have the stock LUT on the camera and I can't figure out how to remove it or at least not apply it on the footage. I think when I'm "deselecting it" it should appear but the side monitor still shows it. I don't see a "flat/ungraded" look.
What am I doing wrong?

check on manual, i not remember exactly where, you must disable, not uncheck
you cannot unchecked the standard lut, you enable or disable on monitor settings the lut preview, if you shooting raw or in film mode, if you shoot in video you cannot see log (be cause you shoot in video).

As Carlo said, you can turn on or turn off the BMD Stock LUT, but you can not remove it from the camera, as it is in the camera OS.

Well, if you want to shut off the display LUT, for either the screen or HDMI, you can do that under the monitor settings. So you if shoot bmd film, and have LUT turned off, you'll see an approximation of a log image.

There's another switch for whether you want to record the LUT -- or not -- on the last page of the record menu
