How does autofocus work

PostThu Apr 25, 2019 4:48 am

As I'm about to receive my Ursa Mini Pro G2, first time BMD user, I was wondering how autofocus works.

I read in the manual that autofocus can be triggered by tapping in an area on the screen. Does autofocus track that area or is it one shot/AF-S?

Thanks ....

Auto Focus on all BM cameras, is a push to focus feature. On the newer cameras like the Pocket 4K and Ursa Mini Pro, you can touch the screen to set focus at a given point or subject. However, if the subject moves, you need to refocus, it does Not have tracking or continuous AF, not do any of the BMD Cameras.
Continuous AF is more of a DSLR or mirrorless camera feature.

Denny, thanks for clarifying this for me. I do appreciate it.
