BMPCC4K ProRes dropping frames

hey all, I just got my bmpcc4k and while doing some tests, I noticed that every flavor of prores gives me the dropped frame “exclamation mark” and locks the camera up. I’ll need to pull the battery to gain control of it again. I’ve done everything o can think of to trouble shoot

Every codec
1080/4K/DCI
Multiple Cfast cards
Multiple sd cards
Different frame rates
Formatted exfat or osx extended
Different batteries
Plugged in AC
Made sure it’s on up to date firmware

Can’t figure it out. Every B Raw option is working for me, at any frame rate on both the Cfast and the SD card.

Has anyone ran into this issue?

Call BMD Support! I’d say try to reinstall the firmware but I know the camera setup program will likely say you are up-to-date and refuse to update.

You might try resetting the camera to factory defaults. That will force you to spend a few minutes to redefine your system and might cure the problem. Please try that and let us know.

Contact BMD support. You most likely will need to send the camera in for a check up.
