Electronic zoom behaviour

PostMon Jul 22, 2019 8:56 am

Yesterday I tested the electronic zoom of the Olympus ED 14-42mm 3.5-5.6 EZ with BMD Cinema Micro. Is this a normal behaviour of electronic zoom lenses, when I send command for zoom in or zoom out, the zoom drives between extremes? No stop is possible between? I was pretty sure first, I can control it with analogue values, like Focus, Iris and Audio levels.
