2.6K, 2.8K Anamorphic, 4K 2.4:1 in Pocket 4K!

Just came across this photo

Wonder if they will be able to squeeze out any new frame rates with the new crops. It would be incredible to get 120p @ 2.6K and maybe something like 96p at the 4K 2.4:1!

Is this is the new firmware coming out?

That seems to be a FB photo that has been floating around, taken at IBC of one of the Pocket 4K Cameras running the new beta 6.6 FW. Shouldn’t be too long now until FW 6.6 gets released.

Redshark has an article about some of the new features they saw at IBC, including:

• 2.6K resolution at 120fps
• New frame guides plus custom frame guides
• A spirit level guide

Maybe I'm missing something but if you can do 2.6/120, then why would you ever do 1080/120?

Good question, maybe if you are using a standard 16mm lens, that will not cover the 2.6 window?
