Those of you who run Resolve on an iPad, I plan to pick up the newest wundertablet from Apple and was wondering what your experiences are regarding the sizes.
Looking at both in the Apple store, the 11" seems to have closer to a widescreen aspect ratio, very slim and easy to tuck away in a backpack or bag. The 13" seems almost reminiscent of the old 4:3 monitors, but surprisingly felt to be about the same weight as the smaller one. Apparently there's only about a 50-70g difference.
I wonder how Resolve will look and act, and expect the larger one will probably be the better bet for such a busy ("feature rich"
) interface. I'm an audio guy, so I'm not as focused on the image or editing capabilities, but it's nice to be able to see the video that accompanies the audio.
I've only used an iPad for a few weeks before, bought an iPad Air in 2022, used it as a dedicated monitoring monitor as well as for office tasks until my son decided he needed it more for his schoolwork. Haven't seen it since!
