This is the 'Sync Clips' icon in the cut page (rather than multicam syncing). R19b2.
The sync clips produce a 'sync group' multicam clip - begins with 'Media Sync' and the date/time - it is not visible in the cut page media pool, but is visible from the media and edit pages.
To 'refine' a sync group (e.g. to slip by a few frames) you have to 'unlock' that clip (which is not the 'timeline' sync lock - but the one under the right hand screen - that shows the selected camera).
There doesn't seem to be a way to 'zoom in' on the sync group timeline (e.g. to refine syncing to a clap audio waveform). Also don't seem to be able to mute clips (e.g. when trying to use sep sound). Probably easier to 'open in timeline' and adjust there.
Definitely some funkiness here though - had media offline (similar to other reports around Source Tape) and the app crashed (log attached).
Also the 'mark clip' in 'sync bin' mode (e.g. to mark a clip in the timeline to overwrite) *seems* to overwrite one frame short.
All in all - not quite ready for prime time, but interesting.
