Drop Shadows are gone?

Today, like a hundred times before, I wanted to give a text in the timeline a shadow. The corresponding function is actually located in the inspector between stroke and background. But not for me, my window suddenly looks completely different (18.6), no drop shadow. What could have happened there?

Test+ works differently. Go to the Shading tab and select option 3.

Great, thanks, that works. But why is it that way on my timeline? What do you mean by "Test and works differently"?

Jim meant 'Text+' (which is different than the original Text tool - Text+ is implemented under the hood via the Fusion page).
