SUBTITLE tiff import -problem

PostWed Oct 07, 2015 3:27 pm

Hello, I am trying to import subtitle Tiffs that were named numerically and Davinci Resolve is so "smart" it sees these 400 tiff files as an image sequence which they are NOT.

How do I force Resolve to simply import these tiff graphics individually, so I can link the media to the subtitle EDL???
I even tried using the SCENE DETECTION to force Resolve to split the subs, but that did not work, probably because the edits/cuts would have each been 1 frame.

Would be very grateful for advice.

Hello,
you can set the interpretation of any still images sequence in any Library folder to be either a sequence or the individual still images. In Resolve 12 click a pop up reveal in the Library panel of the Media tab (three dots top right of the panel) and chose to Show individual frames
