Transition Troubles

PostFri Aug 18, 2017 9:46 pm

Using version 14b7 under Windows 10.

Scenario 1.

1. Clips A and B with a Center on Edit transition between them.
2. Use a keyboard shortcut to Ripple Trim the end of Clip A, or the beginning of Clip B.

Expected behavior: Transition remains intact.
Actual behavior: Transition disappears.

Scenario 2.

1. Clips A and B have a Center on Edit transition between them.
2. Delete clip B.

Expected behavior: Transition disappears.
Actual behavior: Transitions remains, converted to End on Edit.

Resolve is functioning backwards here, removing transitions that should remain, and leaving them in place when they should be deleted.

I just want to report this 'backwards' behavior still exists in 14.0.0.078 on Windows 10 Pro.

Would love to get it corrected.

I can't replicate #1 -- ripple trim of either side of the cut leaves the transition intact.

#2 behaves as you note.

Odd.

You are trimming the part of the clip with the transition, not the other end?
