AMD / Linux supported yet ?

Threadripper + CentOS + resolve 14.2 = ? happiness or unhappiness ? stable or crashing as per some previous posts ? I"d like to build a linux box over the next month or two, but before buying hardware would like to know...

Kernel isn't there and who knows what Red Hat is going to backport to 3.20 from upcoming 4.15. if you update the kernel to 4.1x from elrepo weird things can happen in CentOS as it's not the officially supported kernel.
