pivot point default

PostWed Jan 24, 2018 9:30 am

What's the logic behind the pivot point standard being 0.435?

Is there any way to change this value to default to 0.5?

working in ACEScc(t) mostly and 0.5 would be a better starting point for me.

type .5 into the box under pivot, and yes my default node tree has changed the most (not all) of the nodes .5

.435 = skintones i belive, so a reasonable place to pivot in working in YRGB,

not as optimal with ACES tho, or if useing L*a*b color science

So no way to change the default? Alright
Changing it in the default node tree is a great idea! Thanks, Dermot!!!
